From the time of our founding, Alpha Delta Pi has believed in the importance of giving back to our community. A dedication to philanthropy guides our members to spend time in the service of those who need it most. Our international organization’s commitment to Ronald McDonald House Charities has led to the donation of over $15,000,000 over the course of our partnership.
Here you can find the many ways in which our association has served our community.
Alpha Delta Pi and Ronald McDonald House Charities have been philanthropic partners since 1979. As one of their oldest corporate partners, our members provide financial support for RMHC by raising money through fundraising events, hands-on support for their local RMHC chapter, and in-kind donations. In 2015, the RMHC Endowment was created for any RMHC chapter to apply for a grant to help build or renovate facilities, as well as create or expand their programs. These grants allow Alpha Delta Pi to support more RMHC locations that may not have a collegiate chapter or alumnae association nearby to provide funding or volunteer services.
The Alpha Delta Pi Foundation serves others through our philanthropic partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) as well as our own sisters through emergency grant funds that provide help when our sisters need it most. Established in 1983, the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization, and gifts made to the Foundation are tax deductible.
